Chiswick House and Gardens Trust is the dedicated charitable trust which cares for and runs Chiswick House and Gardens in partnership with Hounslow Council and English Heritage.
About The Role
You will be joining Hounslow Council’s Culture Team, which is responsible for Heritage and Arts development in the Borough and has successfully delivered a portfolio of Lottery capital projects and its Summer of Culture 2023.
You will be working directly with the Head of Culture at Hounslow and the Director of the Chiswick House and Gardens Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for managing the coordination of a successful development stage scheme to restore the historic Chiswick House Conservatory, developing a long-term business case, and taking the scheme to a planning application.
- You will procure, coordinate, and facilitate the work of the professional design team building on the findings from the funding feasibility work which will have identified future uses and potential funding options.
- You will also liaise between the two partner organisations and manage the project governance through a board and other reporting. As well as support the management of key stakeholder relationships.
- The post is fixed term for 12 months but may be extended depending on the success of the development stage.
Your Skills:
- For this Senior Project Manager role we are looking for someone who is experienced in capital projects, ideally in a building conservation environment.
- You will be highly organised, used to working in a complex, fast-moving environment.
- You will be used to working effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Professional Qualifications:
PRINCE 2 or other accepted project management qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience.
