Chiswick House & Gardens Trust is a registered charity (no. 1109239), which exists to further education through the preservation, restoration, maitenance, repair and enhancement of the Grade-I Listed Chiswick House and Gardens.
The Trust relies on support from its key partners, the English Heritage Trust and the London Borough of Hounslow, to achieve these aims. In addition, each year, the Trust must raise more than £1 million through partner events on site and fundraising from charitable trusts and individuals, including the National Heritage Lottery Fund.
The money which is raised enables the Trust to provide dawn-til-dusk access to the award-winning 18th century landscape at Chiswick and furthers efforts to conserve and promote access to Chiswick House to the broadest possible audience, offering increased opportunities for enjoyment, learning, volunteering and training.
However you choose to support us, we thank you for helping us to continue to flourish.
Some of the activities our donors support are:
- Our award-winning gardening team, who earned multiple gold awards in London in Bloom 2018, including Heritage Park of the Year
- Our ranger service, which keeps the Gardens safe and secure
- Plants, tools, seeds and equipment for our volunteers
- Essential maintenance in Chiswick House
- The continued care of our Conservatory and heritage Camellia Collection
- The support of Chiswick House staff in their conservation and visitor care activities
and many more, all of which keep Chiswick House and Gardens flourishing.
