WildWatch Nature Trail
You can now grab a free WildWatch Nature Trail to discover the butterflies, bees, bugs and beetles who live in our expansive green spaces. From stunning peacock butterflies to stupendous stag beetles, there’s much to spot in our gardens for the eagle-eyed nature lover.
Trails are available at Colicci and the Kitchen Garden.
Shaping Spaces clay workshop with Ayesha Weekes
Sunday July 6th,10.30am – 3.30pm, free event
Come and join artist Ayesha Weekes to help us plan how we can turn our new Community and Creative Campus into an exciting and inspiring place for all to enjoy. Kids and grown-ups can imagine what an inspiring and creative space might look, sound, smell and feel like. You’ll also get to draw and model your ideas, and perhaps even see them materialise in the future!
In addition to sharing your ideas with us, you can contribute to a collaborative artwork that captures the community vision. No booking necessary. Just drop in on the day!
Artist Studios Community Open Day
Saturday August 30th, 10.30am – 4pm, free event
Join us for a fun-filled day of creative workshops led by our new resident artists who will be moving into our on-site Artist Studios.
Officially launched last month, the Studios are situated in refurbished historic sheds, stables and outbuildings, close to the wildlife-rich Kitchen Garden. These spaces are purpose-built for artists to use and will become the bustling hub of our Community and Creative Campus. This free drop-in event is your chance to get a taste of things to come while spending quality time with your family.
Outdoor Theatre: Alice Through the Looking Glass
Saturday July 5th, 2.30pm
Travel to Wonderland this summer with Quantum Theatre’s lively adaptation of a Lewis Carroll classic. The play will take place under open skies, surrounded by lush greenery, in our Outdoor Theatre. Attendees are welcome to bring along picnics but we recommend trying the scrumptious treats and refreshing drinks available at Colicci Cafe!
