Illyria Theatre are returning to Chiswick House with their new fun-filled family musical!

Hugh Lofting’s timeless classic celebrates empathy, inspiring us all to see the world through the eyes of animals.

Doctor Dolittle leads a simple life as a village doctor. But one day, with the help of his wise old parrot Polynesia, he makes an extraordinary discovery: that he can talk to animals!

This funny, exciting new family musical is performed with flair and wit by Illyria in the great outdoors.

Illyria’s mission is simple: to create outstandingly enjoyable theatre and make it available for everyone. They’ve been pursuing this mission for over thirty years, performed for more than a million people, and intend to entertain families across the country for many more seasons to come.

General information

This is an outdoor event so please come dressed for the weather with low-backed seating and refreshments if you wish.

Toilets are located at Chiswick House Café. There will be a 20 minute interval.

All child ticket holders are entitled to a £4 Kids Picnic Lunch from Chiswick House Café. Just show your ticket at the café tills. The lunch includes a sandwich, fruit, juice & biscuit. Grab your lunch and then head down to the Picnic Area to enjoy your picnic and enjoy the show!
