This fascinating picture, which dates from the 1870s, depicts Queen Victoria at a July 1875 garden party in the grounds of Chiswick House, along with family members, an array of notable personages of the time, and one of her beloved dogs. Pay us a visit to discover who’s who…

The House is open Thursday –  Sunday, 10:30am – 3:30pm, until 28 Setember 2025.

• Child (5-17), people on jobseekers allowance & students: £6.50
