Our Gardens are free for everyone, everyday.

Gardens

Open daily from 7am until dusk all year round. March closing time is 7pm.

Kitchen Garden

Open from 28 March to 27 October, Thursday to Sunday, 10:30am – 3:30pm.

  • The Kitchen Garden is free to enter for 2024. Please consider becoming a member or donating to support our work.
  • Fresh Kitchen Garden produce available to buy seasonally on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Chiswick House

Chiswick House open from Friday 24 May to 29 September, Thursday to Sunday, 10:30am-3:30pm.

A beautiful garden setting, it is a little gem we shall return to again and again!

Free Audio Guides

Uncover Chiswick House and Gardens’ fascinating story with our two free audio guides:

  • Audio guide for adults narrated by Elizabeth McGovern (Cora Crawley, Countess of Grantham, in Downton Abbey). Includes expert interviews with English Heritage’s curator.
  • Children’s audio guide narrated by Sophie Ellis-Bextor with fun quizzes to keep the kids entertained.

Family Trail

Pick up a free Family Trail of the House from the Ticket Desk.

You can book in advance / buy tickets on the day but please note:

  • Unfortunately, we cannot take bookings over the phone.
  • We don’t have a cloakroom so please keep your bags with you during your visit and carry them by your side in the House.
  • Strollers and pushchairs can be stored at the buggy park in the main entrance, unfortunately they cannot be permitted into the House but we do have baby carriers you can borrow.
  • Photography is not permitted in some rooms due to the nature of the collection. Please speak to staff for more information

Getting here
