There is no charge for visiting the Gardens and the Conservatory.

House Monday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday only (1st April–1st November inclusive). Private bookings on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday; please contact groups@chgt.org.uk.

For 2020: All bank holidays, including Bank Holiday Fridays 10th April & 8th May, the House will be open 11am-4pm.

This list is subject to change at short notice, so please check the House closure dates and timings before planning your trip, and call 020 3141 3352 for further information and Blue Badge parking.

House Tickets

The house is available for private pre-booked groups and guided tours on any day and throughout the year – See group tours. A free guided tour of the House is included in admission; please collect a free ticket from the welcome desk upon arrival. Free tours take place on Monday and Wednesday at 12pm, and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays at 12pm and 2.30pm.

Please note: Due to limited availability, the free tour is only suitable for groups of six visitors or fewer. If you intend to bring a larger group to visit Chiswick House, please see our group tours page. Tours are occasionally subject to alteration/cancellation depending on guide availability; please check our social media or call before your visit to confirm.

Visiting the Gardens and the Conservatory is always FREE. Chiswick House offers free entry for visitors with an English Heritage membership or National Art Pass.

The Gift Aid admission price includes a voluntary donation of 10%. Provided you have paid enough UK Income or Capital Gains Tax * (to cover all of your Gift Aid donations in this tax year), Chiswick House & Gardens Trust is able to reclaim tax on the whole amount you have paid – that’s 25p on every £1. This extra money enables us to undertake vital conservation and education projects and ensure that many of England’s most important historic sites can continue to be enjoyed by future generations.

* Other taxes such as Council Tax and VAT do not apply.
