Chiswick House & Gardens awarded grant from Culture Recovery Fund
We are thrilled to announce that we have secured £109,900 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Culture Recovery Fund to help us transition back into full operation in 2022.
We’re delighted to have been awarded this third grant of continuity support funding. These critical funds will be invested in our core operating costs to give us the best possible chance of returning to financial viability.
Our Director Xanthe Arvanitakis said, “This grant is vital, it will help cover our costs over the winter months so we can continue to develop our community and volunteer programme and plan an exciting and engaging programme in 2022 to aid our recovery”.
Our commercial income has been severely affected over the past 18 months due to the ongoing pandemic. In addition to this welcome Government funding, long-term recovery continues to rely on the generosity of our Patrons and Members, and the kind individuals who volunteer their time and skills and make donations to support our mission to be a place for everyone, every day.
