Fungi walk and talk
Meet our fantastic fungi! Join Magdalana Howitt and local wildlife group Wild Chiswick on a special fungi-themed walk around the gardens this autumn. Discover the different kinds of fungi that can be found here, learn how to identify individual species, and find out more about how these strange, often very beautiful organisms turn dead organic matter into nutrients that can be re-used by plants and animals, making them a vital part of our ecosystem.

Magdalena Howitt has been recording the fungi species across the Chiswick House gardens for several years. She has worked at the London Wetland Centre and is an active member of the London Bat Group.
