This year marks the 11th annual Camellia Show. In the past, we’ve welcomed over 10,000 visitors into the Conservatory to explore our beautiful and historic collection of Camellias. This year, although we aren’t able to open up the Conservatory, we have a lot of fun activities and content planned.
With the kind support of the International Camellia Society, we are pleased to be hosting a Camellia photography competition this year. Head out with your camera, find your inspiration, and send us your best snap. Entries should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org before 9pm on Sunday 28th February to be considered. Entrants will be be shortlisted by Herb and Pat from the ICS (UK), and the public will have the final say on our Instagram channel! There will be prizes for both the winner and runner up, provided kindly by the ICS (UK).

Family-friendly Camellia Trail – Coming Soon!
Did you know that our Camellias don’t just live in the Conservatory? We’ve plotted all of the Camellias growing around the Gardens onto a map, ready for you to print out and explore with! With plenty of information on the history of our collection and other interesting spots, this trail is a lovely way to explore the Gardens – and learn a little history and horticulture along the way. The plants out in the Gardens take a little longer to come in to bloom than those inside the Conservatory, so we will be releasing our trail in a couple of weeks so make it a more scenic experience!
