Just Announced: Alan Titchmarsh and Rosie Fyles in conversation at Chiswick Book Festival

We are delighted to announce that the keynote speaker at this year’s Chiswick Book Festival evening at Chiswick House & Gardens will be acclaimed gardening writer and broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh.

He will be ‘in conversation’ with our Head of Gardens, Rosie Fyles, to discuss his new book Chatsworth: Its gardens and the people who made them. The talk will cover important moments in the history of these celebrated Gardens, especially during the time of the 6th Duke of Devonshire who owned both Chatsworth and Chiswick House. They will also discuss the two iconic gardens in the present day.

Chiswick and Chatsworth’s garden histories are very much entwined. I am looking forward to talking to Alan about his new book, his insights into Chatsworth’s gardens and asking him about his rich and varied career.
