We would love to attract more schools to learn in our Kitchen Garden and so we are developing some self-led lesson plans to help teachers use a visit to the Kitchen Garden to deliver history, geography, science and art lessons to KS1 and KS2 classes.
These draft lesson plans are intended to make it easy for teachers to plan outdoor learning, with the minimum of additional resources whilst maximising the benefit of practical learning in the open air. We are currently piloting these lesson plans and we would welcome feedback. Please find them at the following links.
